** Hello, friends.
------------------------------------------------------------
While the Trump administration tries to criminalize resistance to fascism in the United States with a performative executive order, a new wave of resistance has been quietly gaining momentum on the other side of the world.
We can trace the trail of sparks from the toppling ([link removed]) of the president of Sri Lanka in 2022 and the 2024 uprising in Bangladesh to the uprising ([link removed]) in Indonesia in August 2025 and the insurrection that subsequently overthrew the government of Nepal. Since then, fierce protests have broken out in the Philippines ([link removed]) and Peru, where some participants displayed some of the same iconography as the "Gen Z" protesters who overthrew the government in Nepal two weeks ago.

** Resistance is contagious.

To get a clearer understanding of the background of the insurrection in Nepal and the dynamics within it, we interviewed ([link removed]) Black Book Distro, an anarchist collective and library in Kathmandu. For background on the stakes of the struggle in Peru, you can consult this article ([link removed]) we published in 2023.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration has made Chicago the next target of concentrated attacks from United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement—but this effort is already encountering resistance, as people in the Chicago area identify bottlenecks in ICE operations and take strategic action. We've published a report ([link removed]) from participants in the protests at an ICE facility near Chicago.

Last month, to much acclaim, we released a new album by the hardcore band Catharsis, titled "Hope against Hope." We've already sold out of the first pressing, but another pressing is underway; in the meantime, you can download the record from bandcamp ([link removed]) or stream it on a variety of platforms.
** "The passion, the sheer musical force, and the stubborn drive are more than enough to make it stand out not only as one of the releases of the year, but as one of its defining events."

We’ve also published a new article ([link removed]) in our Demonstrator’s Guide series, which has included guides to affinity group organizing ([link removed]) , direct action ([link removed]) , protective gear ([link removed]) , and more ([link removed]) .
This one takes a focus on operational security, the sets of practices which radicals have developed to defend themselves against surveillance and repression when taking action.
Finally, we’ve released a new episode ([link removed]) of our podcast, The Ex-Worker. This episode features an audio version of the recent article “Make Ready: Safeguarding Our Movements against Repression ([link removed]) ” exploring the implications of Donald Trump’s executive order designating “Antifa” as “a major terrorist organization” and how we can prepare our communities to endure whatever comes next. It also includes an audio version of “When the Police Knock on Your Door: Your Rights and Options.” ([link removed])

** What We’re Doing
------------------------------------------------------------
All of our projects are copyright free. We distribute them for free, or else, where that is impossible, sell print versions for the costs of production and delivery alone. We do this work freely, without seeking financial compensation. The future of our species and of all life on earth is more important to each of us than turning a profit at others’ expense. True wealth is collective, not individualistic.
If you want to help us expand the scope of our efforts, you can support our projects financially ([link removed]) . But the most important thing right now is to form networks that are capable of mutual aid, collective defense, and transformative revolutionary change. Find people who share your desire for a better world and practice taking action ([link removed]) together.
