We are living through one of the most divisive times in our history. At moments like this, policy advocacy is not just important—it is essential. The decisions being made today will shape the lives of our communities for generations. 

That is why our theme for this year’s fundraising campaign, Rising Together: From Community to Collective Action, speaks to the heart of our work. Advocacy holds power accountable, protects marginalized communities, and ensures that our voices are not left out of the process. But lasting change requires all of us—lifting each other up and standing together. 

• Uphold the U.S. Constitution and challenge Executive Orders (EO) that violate birthright citizenship.
• Challenge the overstepping of authority related to dismantling federal agencies, such as the Department of Education, which as a result, cuts Pell Grants, AANAPISI programs, and other critical education programs.
• Challenge EOs that require proof of citizenship for voter registration
