* THE FUTURE OF THE CO GOP AT STAKE SATURDAY AS SCC VOTES ON TWO CRUCIAL DECISIONS. FIRST - OPT OUT OR BUST. Deceitful Chair Horn is trying to pretend the State Central Committee has the option of voting against opting out of the disastrous open primary. It does not. More than 2,000 delegates at the 2024 Assembly and Convention voted overwhelmingly - more than 90% to direct the SCC to affirmatively opt out of the open primary system. That wasn’t a “suggestion” or advisory vote. It is binding. Under Colorado law, Colorado Supreme Court precedent and the CO GOP bylaws, the SCC must honor, certify and implement that opt out vote. Period. Why does Chair Horn want to ignore the overwhelming will of the CO GOP? She is a UniPary/Establishment puppet and the dark money donors like the open primary because it lets them hand pick candidates who will do their bidding. * THE SECOND CRUCIAL VOTE - GET RID OF HORN’S PERSONAL ATTORNEY WHO SHE HIRED AS THE CO GOP GENERAL COUNSEL - AND HIRE A NEW, NEUTRAL ATTORNEY. Talk about an unethical conflict of interest. Horn hired attorney Steve Klenda to represent both the CO GOP as the plaintiff - and her personally as the defendant - in ongoing litigation. You can’t represent both sides in a lawsuit. Expensive and unnecessary litigation that Horn could simply drop if she wanted to (of course she won’t because nothing says “unity” like pursuing litigation against fellow Republicans). SCC members are being asked to dismiss Klenda as the CO GOP attorney and empower the Party Legal Affairs Committee to hire a new, neutral attorney. Seems like a no brainer. * GRASSROOTS CHALLENGER HOPE SCHEPPELMAN SAYS CD3 RINO REP. JEFF HURD HAS A HISTORY OF BETRAYING MAGA AND SIDING WITH DEMOCRATS. You’d think we’d be used to Hurd’s betrayals by now but this one is a shocker in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Hurd is one of just four Republicans who blocked GOP efforts to condemn radical Dem Rep. Ilhan Omar for her vile and incendiary remarks about Kirk. All the other Republicans supported a call to remove her from key House committees but Hurd blocked the move. Scheppelman says this is just the latest example of Hurd siding with Democrats.
