Dear John,
I hope you will join us TODAY from 12–1 PM for our virtual Lunch & Learn: Save Maine Absentee Voting | Question 1 and Protecting Access to the Ballot in Maine.
REGISTER HERE [[link removed]]
Ballot Question 1 [[link removed]] would make absentee voting harder by cutting the two busiest voting days, ending ongoing absentee status for older voters and voters with disabilities, and making it more difficult to request and return a ballot. These changes would hit older adults, people with disabilities, and rural communities the hardest.
Our speakers from the Save Maine Absentee Voting Coalition [[link removed]] —Beth Allen (Maine Votes/Maine Voices Network) and Nick Janzen (Maine Conservation Voters) —will share what’s at stake, the campaign to protect Maine’s voting rights, and how you can take action.
We hope to see you at noon,
Maggie
