Ayanna Pressley fights for an American dream that includes all of us, especially people who have been systemically denied the opportunity to thrive. Chip in to fuel our fight and show the strength of our progressive movement before our end-of-quarter deadline >> |
Movement family, I believe the American dream is a world where:
No one has to litigate, legislate, or agitate for things that should be a birthright — like freedom and joy.
Everyone can get the health care they need.
Our elders can age with dignity, and where Black men grow old.
Families aren’t separated, and everyone who calls this country home can feel safe.
You can afford to live in the community that raised you.
A college education opens doors, not mountains of debt.
Everyone can show up fully, authentically, and unapologetically, without fear and without discrimination.
Our babies can see themselves reflected in the books on their classroom shelves.
And where all of our babies get a future — from Massachusetts, to Haiti, to Gaza.
This dream isn’t a far-flung fantasy. We have the tools to make it a reality. Trump and Republicans are flooding the zone and inflicting harm on our communities right now in the hopes that we get bewildered and feel too powerless to keep fighting for this dream.
I’m asking you to stay in this fight with me right now. A better world is possible — and we can still achieve this American dream for everyone who calls this country home. But only if we continue doing everything we can in this moment to fight for it.
Our end-of-quarter deadline is fast approaching. While it’s a key moment for ensuring we can continue our work until the end of this year, it’s also an opportunity to show how many people believe this American dream is still possible — and worth fighting for.
