Are you ready, John? Early voting has already started in Virginia, and the election is less than six weeks away. Now is the time to turn out voters in this critical election. Whether your top issue is being able to afford a roof over your head, paying off your student loans, protecting our bodily freedoms, combating climate change, or all of the above, voting is the BEST way for young people to make an impact in this election. John, do you have a couple of hours to volunteer to help turn out voters in Virginia? We have two different ways that you can connect with voters, make sure they have a voting plan, and encourage them to cast their ballot this November: 📱We will be hosting phonebanking shifts twice a week between now and Election Day. Each shift will also begin with a brief training on the script and the Scale to Win dialer. Whether you’re a new or seasoned caller, we make the experience as easy and seamless as possible! We also have staff available throughout your shift to help with anything you might need.
📱Don’t like talking on the phone? I get that. Between now and Election Day, we will also be hosting textbanking shifts twice a week. Even if folks have texted with us before, we strongly encourage signing up for a training to see what is different about the new tool, as some processes have changed.
