Look, I get it. It can feel like these messages never stop. But this one really matters.

We’re just days away from our FEC deadline at the end of the month and this is the first one since we learned Republicans currently have 5 times more cash on hand than Democrats. That makes this moment especially important.

This district is the only toss-up in New York and I’m listed as one of the most vulnerable incumbents in the country. All eyes are on us, especially now that a new Republican opponent has officially filed. Everyone is watching to see if Democrats can keep up with the Republican war chest and we have to show we have the resources to be a force to be reckoned with.

I’m already facing attack ads and we need the ability to respond quickly, reach voters and stay competitive. Every contribution before the FEC deadline helps us do that and proves to everyone that we’re ready to compete.
