Special Guest David Barton, Founder of WallBuilders, and host Jonathan Saenz, President & Attorney for Texas Values, discuss the new Texas Ten Commandments Law! |
"The Ten Commandments had hung in schools since 1690. For 330 years we’ve had this in schools...what’s happened is when it went out of schools the court gave zero reasons for taking it out. We’re at a point now where we can go back to where we were prior to the Progressive court era which started in 1962. They said, ‘Oh, btw, we’ve had prayer in schools for 300 years, no more! We’ve had Bible for 300 years, no more! No more 10 Commandments!' With NO precedent, and that’s what’s amazing!
Twenty-two states right now, are working on a Ten Commandments bill." ~ David Barton Want to hear more from David Barton? Come see him in person THIS weekend at TexasFaithFest.Com!
His interview is available to view on our YouTube Channel and on our Facebook page.

Why Do We Need the Ten Commandments in Classrooms? |
The Ten Commandments were once a cornerstone of American education and the American legal system. They put forth universal moral truths that bring a sense of clarity to students in public school systems that are being inundated with moral confusion and ambiguity. We are now being given the unique opportunity to put more focus back on our nation’s history and founding principles.
The Texas Ten Commandments Bill (SB 10) went into effect on September 1! It’s up to the people of Texas to help implement this new law—and you can play a vital role. For the Ten Commandments to be displayed, the poster or framed copy must be donated to the school(s). Donate for a school to receive and display Ten Commandments posters in every classroom! Visit our website tencommandmentstexas.com and select the school(s) in your area, purchase posters by following a simple step-by-step guide to donate them to your local school and district. You can also volunteer to deliver posters to schools.
Read our Press Release on the recent Court Ruling on the Texas Ten Commandments Law on our webpage. |

We encourage you to involve your neighbors, church small group, or family in this important effort.
While adopting a school, please take a moment to mark "Texas Values" in the referral drop down menu so we can keep track of volunteer statistics! |

Austin City Council Ends Abortion Fund, Proving the Law is a Teacher and a Principal Voice for Life. |
Mary Elizabeth Castle, Director of Government Relations for Texas Values, is the featured author in the weekly 'Sebastian's Point' by the Society of St. Sebastian regarding the victory of the Texas Legislature in passing Senate Bill 33, a law to stop cities like Austin from funding abortion related services.
Texas has recently seen a boon in pro-life legislation that both clarifies and tightens current pro-life laws. One such law has prohibited Texas cities from funding "abortion tourism." |
