John, the GOP-led Senate is finally back in session after the month-long August recess, and Democrats have our work cut out for us.

Donald Trump and his allies in Washington have stripped millions of their health care – and raised premiums on virtually every American – all to fund a tax cut for billionaires.

All the while, Trump’s reckless tariffs continue to push up prices across the board. He even put a tariff on coffee – a crop that the United States largely can’t grow due to our climate. It just goes to show that these tariffs were never about creating jobs here in America. Just like everything Trump does, it’s once again about funding his tax cut for billionaires at your expense.

And it’s not just Trump wreaking havoc on our country. His extreme appointees, like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., are doing everything they can to advance Trump’s dangerous agenda. Earlier this month, I confronted RFK Jr. at a Senate hearing and told him directly that he should resign or be fired for the conspiracy theories he is spreading and the danger he poses to the health and well-being of every American.

It’s no surprise that folks in every corner of the country are furious at Trump and his administration. But instead of listening to the American people and changing his policies, Trump is now rigging the electoral maps to silence your voice and stop you from holding him accountable.

With the Senate back in session, I’m doing everything I possibly can to hold the line against Donald Trump, the GOP-led Senate, and their dangerous policies. But to make sure I’m focused on the things that matter most to you and your family, I need to hear from you directly.
