I’m not a career politician or a political elite. In fact, I introduced legislation to enact term limits so we can finally put an end to career politicians! And I’ll do the same as governor!
I’m not raking in millions from special interest groups or entrenched elites who want to try and influence my stances on the issues. If you talk to my wife and kids, you’ll know that I’m only influenced by my moral compass, not by people waving a blank check.
At the end of the day, I’m a husband, a dad, a “Boppie” to 17 grandkids, and a businessman who is trying my best to do what’s right for South Carolina.
I’m running for governor because it’s time for an outsider to come in, clean up Columbia, and get to work for the people of South Carolina.
Right now, I’m running in a crowded field of political elites and defeating them won’t be easy.
You can bet I’ll outwork every single one of them. But the truth is, I need the funds to travel the state, get my message out, and win this race.
