Last year on Save a Life Day, organizers across the country gave out tens
of thousands of free doses of naloxone — the medication that can reverse
an opioid overdose in minutes.
This year, on September 25th, [ [link removed] ]every single state is taking part in the
first *fully national* Save a Life Day.

What started as a small pilot in West Virginia has grown into a national
movement that’s saving lives. Efforts like this helped drop overdose
deaths by 24% in 2024 — real progress, powered by people like you.
And thanks to your advocacy, [ [link removed] ]Congress just passed the SUPPORT Act —
which includes a $57 MILLION training program for first responders. That’s
a huge win — but it’s not over yet.
This wasn’t easy: when the so-called Big Beautiful Bill threatened $40
BILLION in cuts to lifesaving programs, we pushed back hard — and won.
Naloxone funding will continue and first responders will continue to have
access to overdose-reversal agents for those who need them most. When
President Trump signs this bill into law, thousands of lives will be
saved.
