The U.S. Justice Department’s tradition of strict impartiality has been commandeered by President Trump, who treats its professional staff as his personal law firm.

This Supreme Court won’t restrain Trump. The Republican Party has purged any voices independent of Donald Trump, and the institutional safeguards aren’t holding.
