John, I’m Jo Mendoza. I’m a single mother, Marine veteran, and Democrat running to flip AZ-06 blue. Emily Randall said I could reach out because the stakes are so high.

I know being asked for money via email isn’t super fun. In fact, I hate asking for money.

But the truth is, when you’re running in a Congressional race as competitive as mine, you have no choice but to ask. And I’m proud to be asking you—never the shady special interests or corporations that bankroll my opponent.

So I’m going to be blunt with you: I’m asking you for $25 before our end-of-quarter deadline to help me flip this seat blue, and unlike a lot of campaigns out there, I’m going to tell you exactly what your donation funds!
