Recently, Arizona’s top Republican lawmakers moved to block a lawsuit that could overturn abortion restrictions in our state—restrictions that many argue are unconstitutional under the newly passed, voter-approved Prop 139, which enshrined abortion rights into Arizona’s constitution.
But wait. Republicans trying to defy the will of the voters? Sounds like business as usual.
Time and again, Republicans claim to believe in small government and individual rights. But when the people make a choice they don’t like, they try to take it away. That’s exactly what they’re doing with abortion rights here in Arizona.
Fortunately, we have Governor Hobbs and Attorney General Mayes standing strong—pushing back against these autocratic, cynical moves from Republicans. They know that when voters speak, leaders should listen.
But here’s the reality: we might not have them for long if they don’t win re-election next November.
Friend, will you chip in today to help us re-elect Governor Hobbs and Attorney General Mayes in 2026? [[link removed]]
Both of them won by less than 1% in 2022. Every dollar donated, every door knocked, and every phone call made could be the difference.
