This year’s summer holidays are coming to a close but press freedom has had no respite: the killings of journalists in Gaza by the Israeli army have multiplied and innocent journalists like Christophe Gleizes and Frenchie Mae Cumpio remain imprisoned. Worse still, journalism is increasingly threatened by disinformation, often with the help of AI.
The RSF teams worked tirelessly throughout the summer to tackle these threats and are ready to continue their commitment for the rest of the year.
