New webinar! Partners in Service: Activating Your City's Faith Ecosystem
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Faith-based organizations do more than provide spiritual guidance. They feed families, shelter neighbors, run afterschool programs, and support mental health. On Wednesday, October 15, join the Mayors Innovation Project <[link removed]> for Partners in Service: Activating Your City's Faith Ecosystem, a webinar exploring how cities can tap these networks to better meet residents’ needs. Hear from Mayor Victoria Woodards (Tacoma, WA), Geoff Baxter (NAYBA), Mayor Yemi Mobolade, and Thomas Thompson (Colorado Springs) on strategies like embedding faith liaisons in City Hall and filling gaps in housing, food, and workforce programs. This session is designed for mayors, city staff, and faith-focused organizations looking to strengthen community impact.

Celebrating Wisconsin workers with a new monthly series!

The State of Working Wisconsin 2025 <[link removed]> report was released on Labor Day, and to honor Wisconsin workers, we’re launching a new social media series. Each month through January, we’ll share the most important facts and quotes from a different chapter to highlight how workers are doing across the state. September focused on Jobs, showing persistent racial disparities, with Black unemployment at 5.8% compared to 2.5% for white workers in Wisconsin. Next month, we’ll turn to Wages.

Check out our Jobs chapter today, and follow us on social media to get all the latest updates!
