Last night, Ryan Walters resigned as State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

He announced on FOX News that he’s leaving to run the same dark-money group he used his office to promote.

It’s the final, fitting act of one of the most corrupt and incompetent administrations in Oklahoma history.

Let’s be clear: Walters’ resignation is not an end, it’s a warning. The Republican Party stood by him every step of the way. They own his scandals, his chaos, and his failures.

We took a moment to walk down memory lane of the many scandals we've had to endure together.

Through it all, Oklahoma Democrats sounded the alarm.

We called for accountability. We pushed for investigations. We stood with teachers, parents, and students against Walters’ reckless agenda.

The GOP? They looked the other way as Oklahoma fell to 50th in education.

Now Walters is gone. But the fight for public education is just beginning. Gov. Stitt will appoint his replacement, and we know what that means if we don’t push back.
