Morning, friend!

While I may not drink coffee, I'm up early this morning looking over our fundraising numbers.

My team just crunched the numbers, and with only five days left, we are still falling a bit behind. 

See, Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. is my campaign's biggest fundraising deadline yet. That night, we close our books and report our fundraising numbers from the last quarter to the secretary of state.

Once they go public, if my opponents and national Republican megadonors see we're falling short of important grassroots goals like this, they will detect weakness – and they won't hesitate to capitalize.

We've done a good job of closing the gap over the last few weeks, and I'm so grateful for everything this team has done to get me this far. 

Since I'm running to serve the people of Colorado (not special-interest megadonors), I'm also running a people-powered campaign. And, friend, that's why I'm counting on a surge of support from people like you.
