James,
Our fundamental right to free speech is under attack.
Last week, Brendan Carr, the Trump-appointed chairman of the FCC, bullied private broadcasters into silencing Jimmy Kimmel's show. Kimmel was quickly suspended. And while massive public pressure pushed Disney to reinstate the show, this isn't over yet.
Major broadcasters are still refusing to put Kimmel back on air. And Carr is nowhere NEAR done trying to control and censor what can and can't be said on our airwaves. This is what censorship looks like – and it's a direct violation of our First Amendment.

It's time for Carr to resign NOW. And next week, Our Revolution will be at the FCC's open meeting – Carr's first public appearance since this attack on our free speech – making it clear: the American people REFUSE to let our rights be trampled for political gain and are demanding he go, NOW.
What's at stake isn't just one TV show. We're in the middle of a dangerous pattern: Add your name now and we'll deliver our voices straight to the FCC. Brendan Carr must RESIGN IMMEDIATELY before he does more damage.
Since taking over the FCC, Carr has pushed the limits of free speech – using threats and regulatory pressure to force one broadcaster after the next to get in line with Trump's politics.
Then last week he went further than ever, saying publicly it's "long past the time" that Kimmel be taken off air – and suggesting that stations that refuse could face fines or even lose their broadcast licenses. Nexstar, which owns dozens of ABC affiliate networks, pulled Kimmel's show within hours. Why? It's currently seeking approval from the FCC for a $6.2 billion merger.
Next Tuesday's public meeting at the FCC will focus on the merger – and we'll be there, alongside allies in the movement, to show Carr and the FCC that the public will NOT standby and give our government and a handful of multinational corporations the power to decide what millions see, hear, and say.

If Carr gets away with this, no broadcaster – and no speech – is safe. If he can pressure a network over comedy, what will stop him or other administration officials from targeting journalists, artists, or activists next?
That's why we need thousands of supporters – *including you* – to speak out now. We know what happens when power is allowed to corrupt our media: marginalized voices vanish, political speech dries up, and democracy suffers.
Our Revolution is standing up for our freedom of speech at the FCC on Tuesday. Add your name, raise your voice, and join us to demand Brendan Carr resign. Let him, and the whole FCC, and the entire Trump administration know we aren't backing down.
When we organize, we win.
Our Revolution
