When attorney Ben Bull first joined NCOSE six years ago, our former President Pat Trueman greeted him by saying,

“Welcome. We’re going to sue Pornhub.”

At the time, this was unheard of. While Pornhub was certainly involved in mass sexual exploitation, no one had ever sued them for it—much less a fledgling nonprofit that only had $37,000 in the bank.

But Ben Bull is all about “Big Hairy Audacious Goals”—so he said,

“Sign me up!”

Fast forward to the present. NCOSE has filed the

first ever class-action lawsuit

on behalf of child sex trafficking survivors whose abuse videos were distributed on the site. We’ve overcome Pornhub’s motion to dismiss and motion for summary judgment and are

headed to trial!

How did we manage it? Answer:

Your support brought us to where we are today—from a tiny nonprofit with next to no resources and only a couple people on staff, to being a force that can go toe to toe with giants like Pornhub and WIN.

But we need your help to keep going. We’re going to be frank: we turned down over $1 million recently because it was offered to us by a corporate bad actor who was trying to influence our campaign goals.
