We just got our hands on the most recent Proposition 50 poll, John.
This new poll from Emerson shows 51% of respondents supporting Prop 50, the ballot measure that’ll pass Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Election Rigging Response Act.
The Good News? Proposition 50 is currently leading in this poll [!!]
The Bad News? 51% is the narrowest possible majority, and Republicans have only just started spending through their MILLIONS with negative mailers and TV ads.
This is our moment. Our grassroots operation has been fully launched. We’ve hired an Organizing and Training Director. We’re running canvasses every weekend. We have ongoing phonebanks and visibility at community events. Now we need to convince undecided voters to support Proposition 50 so we aren’t relying on a razor-close 51% election victory. Will you pitch in today? [[link removed]]

But our organizing teams here at the California Democratic Party are used to winning close races. Every single election cycle, we organize in some of the tightest swing districts across the country.
In 2024, we were able to flip three U.S. House seats from red to blue — including two seats that were decided by just hundreds of votes .
We are now applying that expertise to our fight to pass Proposition 50, which will stop Trump from rigging next year’s midterms before voting even begins. But we need your help.
At this critical moment where undecided voters are making up their minds, will you power our grassroots organizing up and down the state? Even a donation of $ would make a huge difference! [[link removed]]
