About the job
As a Junior Project Manager, you will support senior project managers and program leadership in delivering planning, design, and construction projects across the Capitol Campus and other DES-managed facilities. You will provide field representation and general oversight, coordinate and review architectural and engineering plans, and help manage schedules, budgets, and risk control measures. In this role, you’ll collaborate with client agencies, regulators, contractors, and DES teams to ensure projects meet legal, technical, and operational requirements. You will also contribute to project documentation, facilitate communication with stakeholders, and support process improvement efforts by applying LEAN principles to enhance efficiency and customer service.
