Reynolds issues statement on Mike Klimesh being elected Iowa Senate Majority Leader* DES MOINES— Today, Governor Kim Reynolds issued the following statement after the Iowa Senate elected Senator Mike Klimesh as new Senate Majority Leader:  “Congratulations to Senator Mike Klimesh on being elected Senate Majority Leader of the 91st Iowa General Assembly. Sen. Klimesh’s influence in the senate has steadily grown over the last four years, and I’m confident in his ability to successfully lead the Senate.
