Hi John,
The Berkshires DSA is excited to return to the annual Fall Foliage Parade, and we'd love for you to march with us. The parade is a great opportunity to let our community know what the DSA stands for, invite others to join our organizing efforts, and spend time with comrades. Fill out this form to participate!
Parade details
Date: Sunday, October 5
Time: The parade starts at 1pm, but we'll need to line up early, time TBC
Location: North Adams (meeting location TBC)
After the parade, we'll celebrate at a North Adams park TBC with doughnuts and cider.
Sign-making event
The day before the parade—Saturday, October 4, 1:30–4:30pm—join us at UNO Center (157 River St, North Adams) for a drop-in sign-making event. We'll provide supplies, but feel free to bring your own, too. RSVP here.
Even if you're not marching, you're welcome to stop by to hang out, make a sign for someone else, and enjoy some snacks.
If you can't make the event—don't worry! We'll have signs at the parade for you to use, or you can bring your own signs that highlight the DSA's values and our chapter's priorities—have fun playing with the theme of "To Northern Berkshire & Beyond!"
Extra opportunity to get involved: rent control
If you'd like to support the rent control ballot initiative, you can help collect signatures after the parade. Use this form to let us know if you're interested.
We can't wait to see you soon! 🍎🍁
In solidarity,
Berkshires DSA Steering Committee
