I’m speaking out for the three million North Carolinians who rely on Medicaid, and I need you to join me, John. John — The federal government’s decision to slash Medicaid funding has put North Carolinians' health care at risk. Medicaid dollars help keep rural hospitals open and bring providers to our state. At the same time, the Republican-led General Assembly is failing to act to keep our Medicaid program running — instead, they’re playing political games and allowing infighting to sink this critical funding. It is inexcusable. With no agreement in sight, they’re putting their politics ahead of protecting our people’s health, harming health care providers and the economy. It’s past time they act to protect health care access. We cannot allow this to happen, John.
