Serving Pennsylvania's 2nd District

Friend,

I won’t mince words: Trump’s Big Bill for Billionaires made the largest cuts to Medicaid in American history. Now, he is advancing a partisan budget that fails to extend the Affordable Care Act’s cost-saving tax credits. This will have devastating consequences for our neighbors. I’m doing everything in my power to stop it.

Are you losing your health care or seeing your costs go up due to Trump's Big Bill for Billionaires or Affordable Care Act Cuts?

In Pennsylvania’s Second Congressional District, Pennie enrollees, meaning those using Pennsylvania’s Affordable Care Act Market, can expect their premiums to increase an average of 99 percent if conservatives in Congress fail to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits. This would mean a family of four making $78,000 annually can expect their premiums to increase by $281 every single month. To make matters worse, 13 insurance providers who participate in Pennie are projecting a rise in premiums for 2026.

I came to Congress to fight for working people and lower costs. But instead of rising to the moment, many of my colleagues passed a spending bill that cuts health care for working families while handing out massive tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy. It’s plain wrong.

I’m not here to work for billionaires. I work for my neighbors — proud working people in Philadelphia — and I want to hear from them. If you’re losing coverage or paying more in premiums because of these cuts, please share your story with me so I can take the fight to Washington.

Affordable health care means knowing you can see a doctor, afford your prescriptions, and care for your loved ones with peace of mind. It’s not just about a doctor’s visit — it’s about financial security and dignity. As your Congressman, I’m in this fight with you.

Sincerely,
