Friend, we’re about to face the first significant test of our campaign’s financial strength.

At the end of this month, we will be filing the first of our quarterly fundraising reports with the FEC.

You know what this means by now: Our opponent and his national Republican allies will soon see how much we’ve raised — they’ll see any drop in our fundraising numbers as evidence of weakness, and they’ll determine what they need to spend against us this fall and beyond based on that number.

Our end-of-quarter online goal is $555,000, and I’m reaching out personally to ask if you can start us off by splitting a donation of anything that is right for you between my team and iVote Fund today. [[link removed]]

In recent weeks, the RNC made moves to start directing funds to our opponent even earlier than usual. This comes as no surprise — we’ve long known that our race could become the most expensive U.S. Senate contest in history. The GOP is ready to commit any amount to defeating us.

The GOP machine can try to buy this seat, friend, but I know that we can defeat them by standing together. After all, we’ve won some of the toughest races in North Carolina before.

One of the most important ways you can help show that we have what it takes to win is by donating before our end-of-quarter deadline. We need to show that we’re bringing more supporters onto our team than our opponent and that our momentum continues to grow. Please, split a donation before time runs out. [[link removed]]

iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.

Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.

Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

We need a massive coalition to register new voters and protect our right to vote in this election and beyond.

We know you get a lot of emails, but it's only because this fight is so important. We need you to stick with us long term. But if you must go, you can unsubscribe.
