Dear Friend,

I was planning to write and tell you all about our incredible August 16th SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY DAY event at the Library of Congress to counter the Left’s “Drag Queen Story Hours.”

But then the reports started coming in from parents and grandparents across the country about the opposition they faced at their SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY events.

Friend, I know the mainstream media won’t spend a second telling you what happened so I will.

In Cuyahoga, OH, protestors formed an intimidating gauntlet at the entrance to the public library. Parents had to shepherd their children through it as if they were criminals just to get into our event.

Then inside, while BRAVE families were hearing books about Godly virtues, protestors held up their own inappropriate books showing pornographic content, including one depicting sexual acts between two men.

In Highlands Ranch, CO, a group of grandparents invited a local deputy to read the BRAVE book, The Test of Lionhood which teaches children the importance of courage, perseverance and masculinity.

When the unhinged atheists at the Freedom from Religion Foundation got wind of the grandparents’ effort to share these virtues with Colorado children, they fired off a threatening letter to the Sheriff’s Department.

I’m happy to report that in response, instead of sending a deputy to read The Test of Lionhood at the SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY event, the sheriff HIMSELF showed up to read and support these families.

That’s the kind of bold leadership America needs!

But what we saw in Catawaba County, NC, broke my heart.

Among the protestors there was a woman in her rainbow socks holding up a sign that proclaimed:

“Shelter your own kids! Leave ours alone.”

Friend, what on earth has happened to parents in our country?

Like me, you remember a time when EVERY parent’s goal was to shelter their children from the evils of this world.

And parents felt blessed to live in America where they had the very best chance of protecting their children from want, depravity, and danger.

But radical leftist parents want their children exposed to transgenderism, LGBTQ lifestyles, DEI, climate hysteria, Marxism, atheism, and all the rest.

Friend, you can see our work to shelter children from these dangerous ideas has never been more important.

The protests against our wholesome SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY DAY make it clear -- our work is getting under the Left’s skin.

That means we’re making a difference, and we must keep going.

SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY DAY can’t be a once-a-year event.

That’s why my friends at BRAVE BOOKS are making SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY DAY a year-round movement in public libraries and schools.

And I hope you will decide to support and help BRAVE Books get as many “See You at the Library Kits” to parents and grandparents as possible — this school year.

Friend, just look at the impact patriots like you have had on our SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY event at the Library of Congress where we partnered with President Trump’s new Center for Faith at the Department of Education.

Thanks to the critical support from patriots like, we sent a loud and clear message:

** All of America’s children deserve to know about God’s goodness, America’s greatness, and timeless Christian values.

** All of America’s children deserve to be raised in innocence.

At our SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY DAY, children and parents prayed together, pledged allegiance to the flag, and heard the wholesome messages of BRAVE Books.

Missy Robertson of the Duck Dynasty family read her BRAVE Book, Because You’re My Family, a heartwarming story of unconditional love and sacrifice.

I read my BRAVE Book, Pride Comes Before the Fall, which teaches that God desires humility more than pride.

And powerhouse conservative Michael Knowles of the Daily Wire hosted our event with warmth and humor leading the kids through the Pledge and a rousing rendition of “If You’re Happy and You Know It,” and “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.”

Even Iggy the iguana from our BRAVE TV show, Iggy and Mr. Kirk, made an appearance much to the delight and squeals of our young audience.

In short, it was a Saturday like you remember filled with reading books, silly jokes, and giggles.

And wow – the Library of Congress – the world’s largest library – built with an unapologetic nod to our Creator.

The Main Reading Room features a statue of Moses holding the Ten Commandments. The Giant Bible of Mainz and the Gutenberg Bible are on display.

And engraved in stone is Micah 6:8: “What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.”

I wish some of those leftist protestors would have come to the Library of Congress and seen with their own eyes that our Founding Fathers clearly wanted Americans pointed to truth, mercy and morality.

Instead, we must keep doing everything we can to bring that message to them through BRAVE Books. And that starts with making SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY DAY a year-round movement.

For your family, for America’s families, and for all the children who have little hope of hearing that God loves them and that America is good unless we reach them...
