Here are just a few things to know about Tom Homan, the Trump regime’s so-called
“border czar” (Secretary of Xenophobia would be more accurate):

* He is one of the people most responsible for the immoral “family separation”
policy whereby our government openly kidnapped children and infants as some
monstrous form of immigration enforcement. (A thousand or more families
ripped apart during Trump’s first term have still not been reunited.)

* He contributed to the infamous Project 2025 manifesto that is essentially serving as an authoritarian playbook for the
Trump regime.

* He urged the Department of Justice to investigate Rep. Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez simply for informing immigrants about their rights.

* In response to court orders against the Trump regime’s ruthless and illegal
deportations, he said: “We are not stopping. I don’t care what the judges
think.”

And, according to a bombshell report in The New York Times , Homan accepted a bag containing $50,000 in cash last September from
undercover FBI agents posing as businessmen. Homan reportedly indicated he would
be willing to help them get government contracts if Trump won the election.

This is the kind of scandal that might well have derailed any previous
presidential administration. But, in the era of Donald Trump, it barely made
headlines. And now Trump’s sycophantic DOJ has closed the case, whining about
“the deep state.” Democrats in both the House and Senate have opened separate
investigations over the regime’s choice to drop an inquiry into Homan.

As usual, the Trump regime is piling corruption on top of sleaze. The FBI
reportedly has “border czar” Tom Homan on tape accepting $50,000 in exchange for
a promise to deliver future government contracts. Of course, he is presumed
innocent until proven guilty. (A right he ignores when it comes to the people he
and those under him are summarily rounding up for the “crime” of looking or
sounding Latino.) But rather than investigate and let the criminal justice
system determine if Homan committed any crimes, Trump’s sycophantic DOJ has
simply closed the case. The American people deserve to know what happened here,
so please go forward with your investigations over the regime’s choice to drop a
