The Hill: When extremist content meets glorified violence online, communities pay the price
The first weeks of school should be filled with jitters, anticipation and fresh starts. Instead, in Evergreen, Colo., they were filled with grief and fear. A 16-year-old opened fire at Evergreen High School, wounding two classmates before turning the gun on himself. Deadly school shootings in the U.S. are tragically common, but they are not inevitable. The 16-year-old who opened fire on his classmates and ultimately took his own life had been exposed to a toxic online community, including a forum in which graphic violent videos and extremism were celebrated.
Geopolitical Monitor Rhetoric or Reality? Unpacking Lashkar-e-Taiba Terror Warnings against India
“We will take over the rivers and dams in Jammu & Kashmir, one day the entire Jammu & Kashmir will be ours and we will avenge for strikes on Pakistan” ranted Saifullah Khalid, directly threatening India. Saifullah Khalid (aka Saifullah Kasuri), who is the general secretary of Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), said this on 17 September 2025, in Bahawalpur during a flood relief event. PMML, which is a political party in Pakistan, has been conducting flood relief programs in Pakistan. Little does the common man outside Pakistan know that PMML is the new political avatar of its predecessor, the Milli Muslim League (MML), which was proscribed the US government in 2018. Saifullah Khalid who was then leader of MML was also designated as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) along with six other MML leaders, all of whom are presently in PMML.

Associated Press: Trump administration designates Barrio 18 gang as foreign terrorist organization
The Trump administration Tuesday designated the Barrio 18 gang as a foreign terrorist organization, joining other Latin American criminal groups receiving the designation in recent months. Barrio 18, largely based in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, originated in the United States as a street gang in Los Angeles created by young Salvadoran immigrants as a way to protect themselves. When many of their members were deported from the U.S. to El Salvador, the gang expanded and gained power across Central America, where it continues to terrorize communities.
The Atlantic: Left-Wing Terrorism Is on the Rise
No matter how hard ideologues try to exclusively blame their political foes for acts of political violence, the truth is that violent extremists today emerge from across the political spectrum. We have studied this problem and believe that our data can help illuminate an issue too often defined by partisan finger-pointing. As part of a study to be published this week by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, we compiled and analyzed a data set of 750 attacks and plots in the United States from January 1, 1994, to July 4, 2025.
Wired: Nick Fuentes’ Plan to Conquer America

The antisemitic, anti-trans, misogynistic, and racist influencer was responding to a follower who sent him a $10 Super Chat message, offering advice on how to treat the cold Fuentes was suffering from.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood says the rhetoric of the far right “is getting out of control” as she pledged to improve border security. Since becoming Home Secretary earlier this month, Ms Mahmood has promised “to do whatever it takes to secure our border” and fight legal challenges to prevent deportations “at every step”.

The IDF identified terrorists firing from Gaza’s Shifa Hospital a few days ago, the military stated on Wednesday, publishing aerial footage of the incident along with the statement. “The use of a civilian structure, and particularly an active hospital, is further proof of Hamas' cynical and systematic modus operandi of exploiting civilian infrastructure as manned terror command posts,” the IDF stated.

One year after a devastating war with Israel dealt massive blows to Lebanon’s Hezbollah, the Iran-backed terror group is still managing to pay its fighters and fund its social services. Africa Defense Forum: For Sahel Terrorists, Motorcycles Are a Key Tool for Quick Attacks and Escapes
Across the Sahel, the buzz of a motorcycle engine has become a sound that inspires fear. Motorcycles have become the vehicle of choice for terrorists across the region, allowing them to move quickly, strike suddenly, and avoid capture by the local authorities. “Motorbikes have been a near-constant presence in Sahelian armed groups’ battlefield operations, with swarms of motorbikes allowing tens, or even hundreds of fighters to rapidly descend on a target location,” researchers with the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) wrote in a 2023 report on motorbike use among Sahel terror groups.

Back in summer 2022, the FBI received a tip from a minor about a Discord group called “Caliphate Revivalists.” Around 70 participants were chatting about bringing ISIS back to prominence after it’d lost its control over large parts of Iraq and Syria in the late 2010s. The group’s channels included chats about militant training, jihad and jihadist weaponry. Videos of executions and terrorist attack plans were often among the topics of conversation.
