I want to talk about something really quickly.

The fact is: I was the very first Democrat in this race to endorse Zohran after he won the NYC primary for mayor. I endorsed within 24 to 48 hours of him winning.

You know why? Because he’s the Democratic nominee.

So while some New York state leaders continue to hold him at arms length:

And others who HAVE endorsed him talk about undermining him:

I am the only Democratic candidate in this race who has shown any interest in building a coalition of the willing that actually advocates for what voters want.

We have pushed Kathy Hochul to endorse Zohran. But she did not come willingly, and she will not support his policies. The Democratic establishment is going to fight us, tooth and nail.

I’m running for governor because the establishment status quo doesn’t work. And I’m hoping that you’ll join me in pushing for a New York that actually takes care of working people.

The only way we’ll win is together. Please.
