The Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds today announced expanded service hours for appointments at the Clerk’s satellite office in Troy. Effective immediately, the Clerk’s Troy office, located in the South Oakland County Office Building at 1151 Crooks Road south of Maple Road in Troy, will be open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. excluding county holidays. Appointments are required and can be scheduled online at oakgov.com/clerk (select the “Life Events & Services” tab) or by calling 248-858-0571.
“One of my ongoing goals is to make services more accessible to the public and these expanded hours at our Troy office are another way to do just that,” said Lisa Brown, Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds. “So many of life’s milestone moments are marked by a visit to the Clerk’s Office and we know that time is precious. Adding additional ways for the public to access needed services in convenient ways is a top priority.”
Though customers are not admitted at the Troy location without an appointment, the main Clerk’s Office, located on the ground floor of the Oakland County Courthouse at 1200 N. Telegraph Road in Pontiac, does take walk-in customers daily Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Many services are also available online at oakgov.com/clerk.
Services available to the public at the Clerk’s Troy Satellite Office include:

The Clerk’s Troy Satellite Office first opened on August 17, 2020 and has to this point been open three days a week.
