John

As we enter the colder months, I wanted to pause and celebrate the incredible impact you make possible for the families and individuals we support.

Because of you, every day, Families in Transition is providing:
  • Housing for 240 households
  • Shelter for 180 individuals (including 30 children)
  • Groceries for 45 households daily

And yet, the need has never been greater.

The City of Manchester has seen a 13% increase in homelessness, with over 700 community members without housing—the highest in a decade.

At the same time, changes in policies and funding have put long-standing grants at risk.

But thanks to your generosity, Families in Transition is not only meeting today’s urgent needs, we’re helping build brighter futures. This year, 86 families have moved into permanent housing, proof of what’s possible when we work together.

Your partnership powers our housing programs, emergency shelters, food programs, and substance use treatment services.

As you consider your end-of-year giving plans, please remember that your support helps ensure everyone has a place to call home.

Thank you for making our mission possible!

With gratitude,

Maria Devlin
President & CEO
