There is so much happening with the Trump administration that voters across the nation are tuning into elections earlier than ever before. November 2026 may seem like a long time away, but what we’re seeing today shows us just how critical it is to act now.

From reckless tariffs that hurt our economy and raise prices for Americans to a big, ugly bill that rips healthcare away from working families to expanded tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires, it’s clear we need new leadership.

I’m talking about leadership that strives to help those they represent. Leadership that isn’t afraid to stand up to partisan games if it means getting the job done right. This is the kind of leadership that’s lacking, from the White House to Congress and in states across the country.

Over the past couple months, I’ve been helping Frontline members of Congress – the members that simply have to win their reelection battles if we’re going to flip the house to create a firewall against the Trump administration.

As the Vice Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, I'm supporting gubernatorial candidates to ensure Americans at the state level are getting the help they need to get by.
