I’m not a doctor — but I was the crew medical officer on my Space Shuttle and Space Station missions.

I was trained to monitor astronaut health in high-stakes environments where there was no margin for error, and no room for junk science.

So let me say this plainly:

I never thought we’d be at the point where the President of the United States and his health agencies seem to be actively working to mislead, or even physically harm, the American people.

We’ve seen it over and over again:

Vaccine denial and conspiracy-peddling

COVID advice that contradicted science and endangered lives

And now, a coordinated push telling pregnant women to “beware of Tylenol” — a safe, commonly used medication

We need to call this out for what it is: dangerous. We cannot be afraid to tell the truth because of political winds. If I lose because I told the truth, so be it. But until that day comes, I’m asking you to support this campaign with $5 or $10 today.

When I’m in the Senate, I will never vote to confirm unqualified ideologues like RFK Jr. to any position of public health authority. And I will work every single day to restore science, reason, and sanity to our medical institutions.
