America's wannabe dictator threw an absolute fit last night on social media, about an hour before Jimmy Kimmel returned to the airwaves from a weeklong suspension triggered by Trump's own FCC. Donald thumbsmashed, "I can't believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back. The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled!" A couple things: Jimmy Kimmel does not work for ABC News. Also, the late-night host was suspended, not canceled, despite Lord Goldemort's apoplectic claim declaring otherwise. Trump wasn't finished: "Why would they want someone back who does so poorly, who’s not funny, and who puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE. He is yet another arm of the DNC and, to the best of my knowledge, that would be a major Illegal Campaign Contribution." Unfortunately for Donald, the best of his knowledge is, in fact, no knowledge whatsoever. But that didn't stop the MAGA cult leader from threatening ABC with yet another lawsuit, exclaiming, "I think we're going to test ABC out on this. Let’s see how we do. Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars. This one sounds even more lucrative. A true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad Ratings." Folks, we can't be "led" by a humorless, tyrannical man-toddler forever, but please know you aren't alone if these past nine months have felt like an eternity.

Trump administration rehires hundreds of federal employees laid off by DOGE
After seven incredibly stupid months it has finally come to this. HUNDREDS of federal employees randomly targeted by Elon Musk's criminally stupid and comically ineffectual DOGE department have been formally asked to return to work. The General Services Administration — which employed 12,000 people at the start of the Trump administration and was a primary DOGE target — gave hundreds of suspended employees until the end of the week to accept or decline reinstatement, according to an internal memo obtained by The Associated Press. Those who accept must report for duty on Oct. 6 after what amounts to a seven-month paid vacation, during which time the GSA — funded by taxpayers, of course — continued paying for hundreds of leases in unused federal office spaces managed by the GSA. While we don't yet know precisely how many millions of dollars Elon needlessly squandered, DOGE will go down as one of great follies in American politics — a cruel and pointless crusade inspired by a meme and orchestrated by a ketamine-addled megalomaniac setting fire to house money.

UN spokesman says Trump’s team at fault for escalator and teleprompter snafus
Donald had a rough day in New York yesterday, and he's apparently demanding his team produce a scapegoat post haste. The MAGA cult leader first encountered technical difficulties with an escalator at the United Nations headquarters, then his teleprompter went down while he was addressing the UN General Assembly. Forced to go off-script, calamity predictably ensued. The White House was quick to blame UN employees, and Trump officials angrily demanded a probe into both snafus. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt joined Jesse Watters on Fox News last night, where the pair breathlessly declared the incidents "sabotage" and blamed the hiccups on "UN globalist staffers," without evidence, of course. The UN was quick to respond, and they brought receipts. According to UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric, Escalatorgate was actually caused when a videographer who was accompanying Trump and the rest of the US delegation ran ahead of the president and accidentally set off a "stop mechanism" safety device at the top of the escalator. Oops. Regarding the teleprompter, a UN official "speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue" said the fault for those problems was with Trump’s team as well, because the White House was operating the teleprompter. Tsk, tsk. You love to hate to see it.
