Fitzpatrick said he would lower healthcare premiums — but on Friday, he turned around and voted to allow the ACA tax credits to expire, making our healthcare premiums RISE.
This isn’t the first time he’s let us down — in May, he could have extended these ACA tax credits, but instead Fitzpatrick literally ran out of the room during the vote.
Brian Fitzpatrick has made it clear that his priority is doing whatever Trump and his billionaire backers tell him to do. We deserve better.
I know that this is a fight that you want me to take on. I’ve heard you loud and clear in our town halls. I also know that this is not some abstract debate in Washington. It's real hardship, its real money, its real costs coming out of real people’s pockets. I will fight tooth and nail to lower the cost of healthcare for working families.
I won’t just talk about it. I’ll bring real leadership to Washington and extend the ACA tax credits, lower healthcare costs, and put Middle Class families first.
