In July, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) launched a “Request for Information” intended to brand gender-affirming care as an “unfair and deceptive practice.” Advocates for Trans Equality fought back!
Since the FTC opened the public comment period, we’ve flooded their inbox with testimony on behalf of hundreds of real patients and medical practitioners. Trans people, their families, and their doctors agree: gender-affirming care is safe, evidence-based, and medically necessary.
