[2X Match] What we can do together, Friend...
Giving Day 2X Match: Now Active
[link removed]
Our very first Giving Day is just days
away - but
our public lands can't wait for us to take action!
Not when federal funding is being slashed. Not when public lands are
being stripped of vital protections, putting them at risk of being
sold to the highest bidder. Not when climate change and extreme
weather pose an urgent threat to the health and safety of our
communities.Â
It's not too soon to give. In fact, it's the very best way you can
help protect our treasured public lands against unprecedented threats
right now and for generations to come.
Put your generosity to work sooner by making an early Giving Day gift
now and helping us reach our $100,000 goal! For a limited time,
your donation will be MATCHED by our partners at Altra to make 2X the
impact protecting the land, air, and water that sustain us all.

With your help, we're working harder than ever to expand access
to the outdoors, protect the places that shape our shared history, and
ensure every person can experience the power of nature.Â
Together, we're safeguarding beloved spaces like Camp Waskowitz.
Tucked into the foothills of Washington's North Cascades, the
camp was originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps - a
Depression-era government work program that made a huge impact on
parks nationwide.
But like many beautiful places, development has inched closer to the
site in recent years. That's where Trust for Public Land and
supporters like you come in.Â
By conserving 345 forested acres at the camp, we've already ensured
this treasured place will remain accessible for generations of
students and campers to discover nature and hone vital life skills.
Every fifth grader in the Highline School District now gets to spend
four days at outdoor camp - giving students a chance to connect
with nature and their peers across backgrounds, and providing many
with their first opportunity to camp or hike.

Camp Waskowitz embodies the collaborative spirit that has defined
Trust for Public Land projects for more than 50 years. But right now,
we're seeing efforts by special interests and elected officials
to endanger the survival of special spaces like these.
Don't wait to fight back and make 2X the impact. Join with
fellow TPL supporters across the country to help us reach our
ambitious $100,000 goal! Plus, if you give an early gift of
$70 or more, we'll send you a special TPL tote bag!
