Friend, the worst has come. Famine has officially been declared in Gaza. And children like Malak and Ibrahim are suffering.
At just 7 months old, Malak is battling the devastating effects of malnutrition. Her mother tells us she can no longer afford basic food from the market due to skyrocketing prices. She brought Malak to one of Project HOPE’s clinics to receive nutrition support.

And Malak is not alone. Ibrahim, another child being treated at one of our clinics, was recently diagnosed with severe malnutrition. His father says he used to love eating potatoes — but now, he can no longer afford them.
