The Virginia House of Delegates, District 73, is currently represented by an anti-choice incumbent who called the Reproductive Freedom Amendment “the most extreme and ideologically driven abortion amendment among any proposed in the nation.” That’s rich language coming from a party that wants to take away access to birth control.

We’re not going to sit back and let these extremist politicians remain in office. That is why we are thrilled to be supporting Leslie Mehta for this seat.

This district has become more blue over the years. After the Republican in the VA House of Delegates won this seat with a 9% margin in 2023, Harris went on to WIN this district in 2024. Now it’s time to finish the job. You can help us flip districts in VA from red to blue by electing pro-choice candidates, like Democrat Leslie Mehta, on November 4 by contributing $25 today. The Republican who holds this seat, Mark Earley, is loudly and proudly anti-choice. He has voted against the amendment to enshrine abortion rights in our constitution once, and he will do it again if he wins in November.
