John, Not only was our client wrongfully arrested for helping carry a cross, but the DA sent officers to his house to REARREST him for the same crime. It’s unlawful retaliation, and TODAY we’re in court defending him. Our client joined fellow Christians in carrying a large cross as a bold expression of faith. Yet police arrested him, accusing him of resisting arrest – video evidence shows otherwise. His church protested this baseless prosecution. And now the District Attorney has escalated the case – upping the charges to a felony court. In a shocking display of intimidation and abuse of power, police showed up at our client’s home and arrested him a second time – in blatant retaliation for his church’s lawful protests.
