Recently, Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia declared in a Senate hearing that the belief our rights come from God is “extremely troubling.” He even compared this foundational American principle to the theocratic regime of Iran:

Let that sink in.

A sitting U.S. Senator equated the most important precept of the Declaration of Independence with dictatorship.

And sadly, Kaine isn’t alone.

Last year, journalist Heidi Przybyla warned of the “infusion of Christian nationalism” in Congress, saying that what defines these so-called extremists is their belief “that our rights… don’t come from any earthly authority… They come from God.”

This isn’t just offensive—it’s a rejection of the principles that make our nation free.

You and I know the truth. Just like our Founding Fathers knew: our rights DO come from God.

Believing that doesn’t make us extremists—it makes us faithful, patriotic Americans.

We will not stand by while this self-evident truth is eroded.

We will not be shamed into silence by radicals who mock our faith and label us dangerous.

We will continue to promote our values, our faith, and the freedoms guaranteed by our Creator—not by Tim Kaine.
