I was born in Communist China under the leadership of Chairman Mao. From the moment I could speak, I was told he was God. I saw families torn apart, neighbors reporting on neighbors, and millions of people brainwashed into silence.
My parents and I lived in constant fear. There was no freedom of speech, no right to worship, no chance to build a better life. We had nothing — not even hope.
But even as a young woman, I knew deep down that human beings are meant to be free. And so, I left.
When I arrived in America in the 1980s, I only had $100 in my pocket. But this country gave me something priceless: opportunity.
I worked hard, built a life, raised my family, became a business owner, and became a proud US citizen.
America let me rediscover God, and it gave me the liberty to live by my own values, not the dictates of a dictator.
That’s why I am running for Congress as a proud conservative. I see warning signs from the Left that remind me too much of where I came from.
Government overreach. Attacks on faith and family. A culture of dependency instead of opportunity.
I refuse to sit back and let our country drift toward the same failed system I escaped.
But I can’t fight this battle alone. My woke opponent, Maggie Goodlander, has the backing of Washington insiders and coastal elites. They will pour millions into this district to silence my message of freedom.
