John, this race just got real. Tom Tiffany has officially announced his campaign against me to bring Trump's agenda right to the Governor's office.
This guy has backed Trump in Congress since Day One.
Tiffany pushed the “Big Lie” to overturn the 2020 election, objected to the certification of election results on January 6th, and was named in a congressional report as a key player in aiding and abetting the insurrection.
He poses a significant threat to reproductive freedom, with an extreme anti-choice record — earning him an A+ rating with major anti-abortion organizations. But John, there’s more.
Tiffany supports policies that strip healthcare from 10 million Americans through strict Medicaid work requirements, shamefully labeling those losing insurance as "lazy."
Here’s the thing, John: Tiffany has been preparing for this race long before today. If we don’t act now, we won’t be ready to defeat him. I expect the attacks will come soon, so I’m reaching out to gather resources to fight back before they do.
We cannot afford a Governor who puts Trump’s whims above our most pressing needs. I know it. You know it. Wisconsinites know it. We have to fight back NOW.
