In his ongoing assault on free speech and political dissent, Donald Trump just signed an unconstitutional executive order to follow through on his promise to designate ‘antifa’ as a domestic terrorist organization.

We know that ‘antifa’ isn’t a singular entity or organization. So who does this executive order actually target? The answer is, all of us.

As many are pointing out, this order is written in a way that considers anyone who protests at ICE detention centers or films ICE agents disappearing people off the streets in their communities to be a domestic terrorist.

This is another dangerous step to criminalize political dissent and roll back our freedom of speech, John.

Trump and his extremist goons like Stephen Miller want to be able to label any left-wing group or activist they don’t like as ‘antifa’ and use their power to criminalize and punish them. This is what authoritarian governments do.
