Maggie Hassan here. It’s been 8 months since Donald Trump began his second term in office, and experts say Project 2025 is almost halfway complete.
Let me lay out what this means. Trump and his Republican allies:
- Gutted USAID and foreign aid.
- Cut off funding for public broadcasting.
- Withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement.
- Slashed Medicaid and SNAP benefits.
- And so much more.
Despite Trump’s promises to improve the lives of working folks, his administration has sent everyday costs through the roof. Americans are struggling to make ends meet. It’s outrageous.
Every day in the Senate, GOP extremists are bending the knee to Trump and enabling his abuses of power. I’ve had enough. We cannot afford another two years of their failed leadership.
