Commonsense Corner:

58.

That’s the number of House Democrats who voted against a measure to honor the
life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. Another 38 just voted “present.”

The Left can drone on and on about “hate,” but if there’s anything the last
couple of weeks have proven, it’s that we know where the problem lies.

As if dancing on Charlie’s grave wasn’t bad enough, Democrats couldn’t even
muster up a shred of morality to let us memorialize him the way he deserves.
Can you imagine the outrage if the shoe was on the other foot?

You can’t—because it wouldn’t come to that.

Exhibit A: House Resolution 519
<[link removed]>,
which condemned the attacks on the Democrat Minnesota lawmakers back in June
passed unanimously.

As the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding.

You see, the Left operates by their own set of rules. We saw this play out
last week when they were whining and moaning about Jimmy Kimmel. They had no
problem canceling conservatives, firing Americans who wouldn’t get the COVID
vax, and turning off President Trump’s Twitter account.

Rules for thee, not for me.

As Charlie pointed out years ago, if we try to be fair and square, we LOSE
<[link removed]>—so we’re not exactly
crying in our Wheaties that a not-so-funny “comedian” lost his slot on
broadcast television.

There’s a lot of noise out there on the internet, and trust us, we get mad!
But we can’t get so worked up that we lose sight of our mission.

Let’s recommit ourselves to the conservative fight for faith, freedom, and the
American family.

Who is primarily responsible for the heinous uptick in political violence in
America?
