I’m going to cut right to it because we’ve got A LOT of work to do today to catch up and make sure Summer is in a good spot going into the end of the year.
Here’s what we know so far:
- Summer Lee already has one democratic opponent trying to take her seat in the next primary.
- AIPAC is actively trying to recruit a second challenger — the same folks who spent nearly $25,000,000 to take out Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman.
- Summer is leading the charge to release the Epstein files and it’s happening because of her subpoena. That kind of courage makes powerful people with deep pockets very angry, because the truth threatens their influence and their ability to hide behind money and connections.
- A recent study showed Summer endures more racist, hateful attacks than any other Congressmember in Pennsylvania.
- And because she’s leading the fight to get money out of politics, taking on billionaires and their influence, they’re preparing to spend millions to take her out.
That’s the reality we’re up against. And on top of that, we’re falling short of our END OF QUARTER goal by $8,500.
If we don’t close that gap, it means starting the last quarter of the year already behind while the folks ready to come after Summer already have MILLIONS. We can’t afford that. Not with everything going on.
