[link removed] [[link removed]] Team, I know the deluge of awful news lately can be genuinely overwhelming.

We’ve seen rollbacks of clean energy and environmental programs, a horrifying increase in politically-motivated violence, and we’ve even had to face down even more attacks on our most basic rights and freedoms from President Trump and his allies.

But I refuse to get lost in the constant churn of the daily news cycle, because though Democrats may have limited power to affect change from the House minority, I haven’t lost sight of my core mission: fighting for YOU, and pushing for bold legislation that uplifts working families, farmers, small business owners, and everyone who calls OR-06 home.

I’ll tell you more about the challenges I’m working to address in just a moment, but if you’re already with me, can I count on you to pitch in to my re-election campaign before my upcoming end-of-quarter FEC deadline? [[link removed]?]

For months, Donald Trump has abused ICE’s authority to sow chaos and score cheap political points, disrupting the lives of families both in my district and across the nation. So I stepped up and paid a visit to Portland’s ICE field office to demand answers — and I fully intend to hold these officials accountable for the terror they’re spreading through our communities.

I’m leading the charge to oppose the Trump administration’s attempt to repeal the 2001 Roadless Rule, a critical environmental policy that protects almost 60 million acres of American forests from construction and development that would damage the untouched forestland and increase the risk of wildfires.

And as the federal government faces a looming funding deadline, I haven’t wavered for a moment in fighting for a spending agreement that reverses Medicaid cuts and brings down health care costs for Oregon families. But Republicans have so far refused to negotiate — so I voted against their partisan spending bill, because I refuse to go along with the GOP scheme to strip Americans of their health care and drive up costs.

Listen, standing up for OR-06 in Washington D.C. these past few months hasn’t been easy, but it’s worth it — because Oregonians are worth it. And it’s the job my constituents elected me to do.

But in just a few days, I’m facing a critical FEC end-of-quarter deadline, and I’ll need your support to meet my grassroots fundraising goal and keep pushing this campaign forward to Election Day. So if you’re with me, can I count on you to chip in $25 or whatever makes sense to help me keep up the fight for you and your family in Congress? [[link removed]?]
